DESCRIPTION

This 8-hour course is designed to provide the student with an opportunity to expand on their knowledge of small conduit into the fabrication of conduit over 2’. It is intended for students who are journeypersons or apprentices that have completed the small conduit bending, fabrication and installation course through the Electrical Workers Campus. The focus of this course is to provide students with the fundamentals of conduit bending using the hydraulic Greenlee 881 bender through shop lectures and a hands-on opportunity to practice.

Students will learn the methodology of ‘practice precision’ while working with EMT conduit ranging in size from 2½” to 4”. This course also offers mathematical formulas, application techniques and safety procedures, and allows the student to familiarize themselves with Greenlee 881 bending equipment and correct set-up and operation for the job site.
