Scott MacLean holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Education degree. He began his electrical career in 2013, completing his apprenticeship across Cape Breton and Edmonton, Alberta, and earned his Red Seal certification in December 2019. Over the years, Scott has gained valuable experience working on residential, commercial, and institutional electrical projects.
Since joining IBEW Local 625 in August 2020, Scott has served in several key roles, including Organizer and Membership Development Representative. He currently serves as the Work Ready Program Coordinator, Electrical Workers College Administrator, and relief dispatcher. In addition to his administrative responsibilities, Scott is actively involved in the broader electrical and construction community. He sits on the Work Ready Committee and serves as a delegate on the Mainland Nova Scotia Building Trades Council.
